I like how further humiliating the suspected offenders by sharing their mugshots on the internet doesn't seem register at all.

Carefully aimed sensitivity.

Talcum X was never the sharpest tool in the shed; after all, he thinks he's black, and he's willing to call his own mother a whore to maintain that belief.

[–] BackAsswards 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Never heard that one. Kudos it's rare these days

You might as well have the source. The leftist bitterness in the comments are to hilarious to miss out on.

EDIT: Oh I believe you do.

[–] VapidGopher 2 points 51 points (+53|-2) ago

Sue?!?

Them: "Oh it was horrible. Sniff sniff. He made me... he forced me to put the shirt... on. The monster actually made me wear it. It's the most degrading and embarrassing thing I've ever done in my life!"

Judge: "You do realize you were arrested for snorting smarties off a 72 year old hookers butt hole and then beating her to death"

Them: "But I'm still the victim here!"

[–] sir_andy_of_bad 1 points 6 points (+7|-1) ago

You'd think that shining a flashlight up their butthole would have been the more demeaning procedure here, but niggers gon nig, right?

[–] AWhiteCishetMan 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Oh what, is he going to help people sue the Arkansas police department in small claims court so that they could be on Judge Judy ? "But muh feelings your honor!"

I bet you people are calling this police brutality too XD

[–] lazyusername 3 points 3 points (+6|-3) ago

I don't know about you, but nobody is going to MAKE me put a nike shirt on for a picture. I just wouldn't do it. They can either take the mugshot without it or we can sit there all day.

[–] Broc_Lia 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Innocent until proven guilty. Just because he arrested them doesn't mean the sheriff can take liberties or dish out extrajudicial punishment, even if it's something stupid like making them wear a shirt for a joke.

[–] BentAxel 0 points 12 points (+12|-0) ago

Im curious to know what a lawyer would sue for? What is the actual complaint? I think it might go something like this?

"They put a shirt on me." "Was there any derogatory message on the shirt?" "yeah, it said Nike."

Bailiff, get this nonsense out of my courtroom...

[–] 0fsgivin 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago  (edited ago)

Using a government position for political purposes. That's where he fucked up.

Teachers can't make kids wear gay pride shirts take pics and post em on the net. You can't use the sherriffs website to make a political statement. That's the issue. If the inmates volunteer to wear the nike shirts for there mugshot. That would probably be acceptable. But even then gets iffy. Again, using government position and funds to push a political agenda.

They removed the pics. Also, Nike could sue em for using a government agency to damage their brand.

I mean this is funny...But it's fucking stupid. This Sherriff ain't that bright.

[–] C_Corax [S] 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

Humiliation? I don't see them having a strong case either.

[–] bakindabacon 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

if they can prove they were forced to do it with threat of further punishment then that is 1st and 8th amendment violations for being coerced to express a certain viewpoint as punishment for a crime they have not yet been convicted of

[–] Broc_Lia 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago  (edited ago)

Cruel and unusual punishment. Also due process rights since they hadn't actually been convicted of anything yet.

I appreciate his sense of humour, but he didn't have the right to do this.

[–] Dark-Star 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

I legitimately laughed so hard my coworkers came over to see what was so funny.

Just in case anyone wanted to larp.

[–] 0fsgivin 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

You don't get it... That guys right.

You can't use a government position and resources to push an agenda. The website is a resource. Taxes pay to maintain it. This Sherriff actually really fucked up. It's funny. But no they absolutely would have a VERY good case against him in court.

[–] Hydrocephalus 0 points 24 points (+24|-0) ago

[–] soda_crackers 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

They was on their way to church always be prayin' n sheeeit.

[–] BlueDrache 1 points 18 points (+19|-1) ago

If this was to cover up offensive stuff on other peoples' shirts, or if the people didn't have shirts to begin with, then I can totally see this.

It's just the left making mountains out of molehills as usual.

[–] One-Way_Bus 0 points 17 points (+17|-0) ago

Oh no! Talcum X is upset! We better watch out!

[–] carnold03 2 points 11 points (+13|-2) ago

I think it's brilliant corporate trolling and more Sheriffs and police departments in more municipalities should be doing it.

[–] 0fsgivin 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

You can't...use government funds and positions like that to push agendas. He took the photos down real quick once they blew up.

I'm sure at the advice of the county or sheriffs legal team.

[–] SyriansAreTerrorists 5 points 1 points (+6|-5) ago

We need to make prisoners suffer. We're way too soft on them

[–] bakindabacon 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

any weapon you give the state will eventually be used against you

[–] Likebeingright 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

I know I`m in favor of caning

[–] Broc_Lia 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Even if you argue that should happen to convicted prisoners, these people still deserved the presumption of innocence.

[–] Broc_Lia 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

It's funny, but completely illegal. This is the kind of thing that should be joked about in the staffroom then forgotten.

[–] bredlo 0 points 7 points (+7|-0) ago

Just looking at the faces I'd bet most of the crimes were drug related

[–] Hydrocephalus 0 points 7 points (+7|-0) ago

Talcum X is pissed!

[–] Pluviou5 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

I bet he'd be even more pissed if the shirts were in orange.
