Shit like this doesn't even get written anymore. Glad I still have all of my C&H Collection books!

earth stopped it's hostilities to "peaceful space farmers"

[...]

the pacifists left earth without defenses

I can see parallels to reality.

Unknown to both students ,their emails were intercepted by hostile Alien life form. Decision was made to unisex the entire species to gain better control of the population. The program was initiated in North America as a test platform and is currently in full swing.

This is a good illustration of why i pretty much avoid all books by a female author. I respect their work and very often the subject matter is interesting but the style of writing is just not my cup of tea. I cannot get past the sentimentality and emotional clutter. I get what is going on, i understand why it is happening but it kills a book for me.

Girl wanted me to read twilight. The first page must have had "I" about a hundred times. I ended up just telling her the book was trash and I'm not reading it.

You'd expect that from a first person story. However, whatsherface is just a bad writer.

There are a few good female writers who can do more than navel-gazing and feels, but you need to shop around. Barbara Hambly, Mary Shelley and Ursula Le Guin are IMO pretty good for example.

Mary Shelley was a definite on that list. She did something I didn't think women could do: She explored two diametrically opposed perspectives on a single issue.

I cannot immagine a clearer example of the difference between boys and girls. The idea that we are all the same is absurd. Yes, we should respect each other, but we are not the same.

Don't forget that the man's bottle has been there for the past 3 years from how little it's used.

My hair is down to boob height; it literally takes about half a medium bottle of conditioner for it.

There's a big difference between a head of hair that's 1-2 to 1 inch long, and hair that's 16 inches long.

It bothers me that there isn’t a spigot or knobs on the same wall as the showerhead.

Congress abolished war? Do women really think like this?

Yes. Of course, then the questions becomes "how do you enforce that without a military?"

My first thought: Oh, target-rich environment.

Yes. At least some do. I tried to read Ursula K. McGuinn's 'The Dispossessed', and the first few pages had some howlers about how Utopia was created simply by abolishing and banning bad stuff as if that would make it magically go away, so I made the book magically go away by throwing it at the wall.

Could still make a story about the guys that pulverized earth. Or go the route of some earthlings miraculously escaping, like in the hitchhiker series.

Literally there would be nobody to enforce the law, I would have went with a rebellious earth faction fighting them off. But then again, there's no tea in rebellious militias, because it's all in the harbour.

Sure but you would have to change your path then, go beyond the MSM soap reality "documentary" shit.

Bill should have been way samrter and trigger her even more by just by owning her part and keep his story going, bet after one more exchange the bitch would just have stope sending mails failing by doing so.
