Flouride is toxic

[–] RKGIV 2 points 6 points (+8|-2) ago

I've used non-fluoride toothpaste for 10 years and haven't had a cavity since!

I also do not drink any tap water and try to only drink distilled.

(Distilled debate coming in 3, 2, 1...)

I'll bite with the distilled water. The argument I've heard against distillation is that the PH of distilled water is off. Have you found any issue with that?

I was gifted "toothy tabs" and they are fantastic. Teeth feel cleaner than using pastes and no fluoride. They do need getting used to though but worth it IMO.

I finally got a filter that would get it all, including the flouride. We're about to move and I've been trying to find a full house filter that does it all, but haven't had any luck.

Begin contradiction:

1) Studies show 1000 ppm of flouride minimum is required to reduce cavities.

2) Tap water contains [single digit] ppm of flouride in order to "prevent cavities."

Also consider the water is managed by city governments, we all know they a fucking retards and for all we know they are dumping the shit in hap-hazard.

They use flouride gas to fumigate houses for termites in Florida.

Squish fluoride around in your mouth, goy. Twice per year. It's for your teeth.

[–] 3337333 3 points 1 points (+4|-3) ago

Indeed. Scrub it real good into your gums!

[–] Warnos44 2 points 0 points (+2|-2) ago

Even better, sit with trays of it and bleach against your teeth and gums, maybe add some special lighting to enhance the effect.

Remineralization of the teeth is entirely possible. Dentists are just regurgitating exactly what they were taught in order to be wealthy from peoples' shitty teeth. Why do we trust the medical field when it is highly bought and paid for by big pharma? Not really funny at all.

I think to a degree it is. You can deposit missing ions if the original matrix is still there. Some teeth have lost a lot of that original structure though and you can't just paint that back on.

But what I've never really understood is why they can't develop some sort of protective artificial enamel that they paint on over your teeth. Something that keeps bacteria from adhering to the tooth and protects it from the acid that bacteria make which dissolve the teeth. It seems like it would be so easy to just paint a clear coat onto your teeth and let that dry, maybe do a repaint every year, and get a lot more protection from cavities.

Teeth are living. This seems like a bad idea.

There are articles just a couple years old abput regrowing teeth. They've looked at the possibilities and decided it wasn't as profittable is my guess. We aren't given the best care possible by a long shot.

Because whatever the coating would be would most likely be toxic to your health.

Why do we trust the medical field

Who is 'we,' faggot? I don't even trust myself, so speak for yourself about "the medical field." lol

Uh, that was my point ya dick lickin' knob-gobbler. I don't fucking trust anyone. 'We' as in, most people... just pop pills and shell out money in a constant stream of doctor visits. And I happen to recognize that I belong to that society.

Wisdom teeth removal surgery is a scam.

Only a fraction of us actually need that operation. It’s one of the biggest score’s dentist can make on a patient.

[–] ErrantCognition 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

I was told I needed to get mine removed before they came in. I flatly refused. I only ended up with two and they cause me no problems except I have to really jam the toothbrush back there

all my wisdom teeth are removed because they caused me insane amounts of pain

how is that a scam? everyone i know who had wisdom teeth have to had them removed because of the pain, not because some dentist recommended it

A dentist told me I didn’t need wisdom teeth surgery and I listened. In the ten years that followed 2 of them died and broke apart in my mouth and another caused a major cavity in the adjacent tooth which required a root canal and crown. Get your wisdom teeth out!

my new dentist is an 'implant specialist' which essentially means he makes more if your teeth fall out. So far he's filled the wrong teeth and the filling fell out. pretty awesome experience after avoiding the dentist for 10 years.

Dude that sucks. Trisodium phosphate (food grade preferable)2tsp and baking soda 5 or 6 TBS, distilled water until saturated. Swish three minutes before bed and don't rinse with water. Also cut refined sugar and no artificial sweeteners (because they'll make you gain weight and are fucking neurodegenerative as well as addictive). If sugar and pop are fucking teeth up, they're also fucking your body up. Agave and honey are probably alright and likely healthy. Make smoothies and get some decent supplements and probiotics. It takes a while of consistency on a solid regimine to turn the corner health-wise once you've already fucked your health over. General practicioners and many other types of doctora are typically in it for the wealth and status and just toe the mainstream medicine line. Really quite fucked up.

Add some bentonite clay and you've really got a good combo.

baking soda is dirt cheap, coconut mouth wash not as much but still good if you need something for one's gums.

Try lemon juice and salt, that'll teach your teeth a lesson.

I haven’t been to a dentist in almost 10 years. I quit once I healed my cavity and also kept my “dangerously impacted” wisdom teeth (they all came in). I take care of my own teeth now and haven’t had any issues I couldn’t solve myself. I follow a lot of the advice from Weston A Price and eat a mostly traditional diet. I followed a book called Cure Tooth Decay to heal my tooth.

What do you do about tartar build up?

6

[–] Lord_Oprah 6 points 5 points (+11|-6) ago

Probably nothing, it’s moments like this when I become consciously aware of hive mind thinking on voat - this dude is literally retarded.

Oil pulling literally removes it.

[–] DefenderOfTruth 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

I don’t have any issues with tarter build up. I brush with a clay toothpaste, floss, and sometimes will brush with black walnut to whiten my teeth. I’ve read that for people with tarter buildup issues, oil pulling (swishing with coconut oil for a few minutes a day) is effective.

Based off that logic you can not trust any doctor. Why don't you not listen to doctors from now on and see how that goes.

[–] BLOODandHONOUR 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

Interesting that you would simply trust somebody based on the position of authority. How’s that working out for you my very trusting friend?

[–] American-Patriot 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

I develop a long lasting relationship with my doctors. Simply trusting any old "doctor" is foolish.

[–] Whitemail 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

Doctors and dentists are generally of high intelligence/openness and high conscientiousness in order to get through the schooling. It's that conscientiousness that makes them trusting, unquestioning, orthodox, and less open to possibilities and things being wrong.
