Lemonade is some serious shit. I've seen people let off with a warning for actually buying hard drugs, with lemonade your going straight to city hall to get a permit. When life gives you lemons just say no.

I live in an area that has regulations on garage sales. Well I have this neighbor who does a lot of trash picking and is too lazy to lug all the shit to the flea market. So every other month for about a year he was hosting "moving sales".

Now normally people have things priced low for such a thing. He however had them all priced barely below their original market value when they were new. So he was attempting to sell things he found in other peoples trash for the price of them if they were new.

He's still living in the same house and he has it priced at around 150% market value. He still has the occasional moving sale. It's like living in the movie the burbs. Shits funny as fuck.

St Kilda, inner city melbourne.

One side of the road is a homeless shelter the pther side has high end houses on it.

Working at a festival at Alliance Francaise im standing on the gate. On my side of the street of got a combination of bums and french people.

Other side of the street theres an old fat toothless whore on the corner and in front of the townhouse block is what at first glance just looks like a garage sale is being set up.

Asian bitch keeps setting up and starts bringing out full on sales racks. I go over and check it put and this dodgy chink has got "3 for $5" and "special sale" racks and discount bins.

Shes illegally running a $2 shop from her house on the side of the road complete with retail equipment and calling it a garage sale.

When my ex wife had me arrested by the scum coward faggot pigs (her brother is a scum coward faggot pig) for a crime I did not commit, she had a garage sale shortly after and sold all my shit...., welder, drill press, grinder, table saw tool box, vice ...fucking everything including my boats.

The pigs stole my life and the scuzzy fucking whore sold my stuff wholesale.

Her grave will be shat upon.

Pig boy. I know you are reading this, I wish you dead.

Nice rant that very loosely has anything to do with the topic at hand. I’m surprised garage sales trigger you so hard

You never had a garage. Do you like pigs? I don’t, you faggot fuck stain.

By the way, that was not a rant.

My rant is in preparation, this was a hardly even a thought.

When I unleash a real rant it will reverberate across the internet.

Tempt me scumbag.

Oh, if you are not a pig than I apologize profusely with every ounce of my integrity.

I got a lot of integrity, who wants to fight me?

Yeah, and OP is questioning the need for regulation in the era of runaway banking cartels. What a faggot.

Probably grew up in Albania.

Don't get your hopes up about my sexuality. If I was a fag though, I doubt I'd be into fat dudes, or dim-witted twats that assume runaway banking cartels are due to capitalism, not regulation. Look into the history of the Federal Reserve and other financial institutions like Fannie and Freddie. Is capitalism at fault? Or perhaps bureaucracy, laws and regulation? Let me know.

Yes, a fractional-reserve banking system which couldn't even maintain profitable were it not for the Federal Reserve's credit expansion and fiat currency is definitely the epitome of a free market. As Murray Rothbard said, "It is no crime to be ignorant of economics, which is, after all, a specialized discipline and one that most people consider to be a ‘dismal science.’ But it is totally irresponsible to have a loud and vociferous opinion on economic subjects while remaining in this state of ignorance.”

Guilds, cartels, and similar collusory schemes are inherently unstable and cannot be maintained in a free market for any reasonable length of time. If you see a cartel in place, whether it's banks or telecom, chances are it came to be that way because of government regulation, not in spite of it.

Yeah, all those banks making billions from transactions denominated in fiat currency controlled by central banks are sure working in purr fucking anarchy.

We have a problem with runaway banking cartels because:

  • They know that any time they fuck up the taxpayer can be forced to cover their losses

  • They are protected from competition by regulators whose rules they themselves write

  • Their primary function (risk assessment) has been taken over by politicians, leaving them with the sole purpose of selling as many loans as possible.

"There isn't enough rules" isn't the problem here.

I believe garage sales are regulated to a degree. I recall reading a household can't have more than three per year before taxes kick in or something? Could be a commiefornian law.

Where I live the whole neighborhood has garage sales every 2 months or so. Sometimes more frequently.

That sounds really convenient. Over here people normally donate their surplus crap to charity shops.

The tag sale is the last bastion of freedom. Don't let them regulate it. They have taken everything else. We should be concerned with deregulating not regulating. Regulating is basically how the rich stay in power and don't let you ever get there.

U have to get a permit to have a garage sale in a texas city... every time i pay some bull shit fee i just imagine a giant goverment monster saying i just want a little i just want to wet my beak... they tax u to death then anytbing you do they have permits and fees what the fuck are my actual taxes for? Is it a joke? I pay taxes then go tona state park a d pay an entry fee? Did i pay taxes for this or what.. then they have paytoll roads and i have to pay for something my taxes were supposed to pay.. if my kid goes to privagw school i pay for that and still pay my property taxes athat pay for other peoples kids, who are going to schools that are basicaly criminal factories.. the i pay for these people when they do end up in jail. We live in a dystopian future and when u really start to think about it, it only makes u madder and madder.. then we send billions to jews in isreal.. some times i look at old white bums and realise they might have been normal but just got tired of getting fucked and decided to do urban camping the rest of their lives... i feel like all the taxes i pay literaly are going against my core values and what i want in a country..
