Few ask: Should kids born of illegal immigrants be automatically granted US citizenship?

The 14th Amendment makes it clear that there is no "birthright citizenship" in the USA. Only fucking retards and liars could interpret it any other way. It is very clear, if you bother to consult a dictionary and apply logic and context to figure out only correct (out of 3) possible definition of "jurisdiction".

They kind of outsmarted themselves by wording it in an unambiguous legalistic style. They used "jurisdiction" to cover anyone born outside of the country, regardless of if they were legal citizens of that foreign territory or state. Jurisdiction in this context meaning an any authority outside the US government. Any other definition of jurisdiction doesn't make sense, because it would be asserting national sovereignty as a concept inside an amendment to the constitution. That would make no sense.

"Swedish" is not just an identity. It's an ethnicity. He isn't Swedish because he was born there...that isn't how European countries work, or how race works. He is a citizen of Sweden, maybe, but that isn't the same thing at all. Drives me crazy to see people who seriously believe that! It makes as much sense as little fluffo there being a fish.

No. My mother was born in Britain, stayed till her teens, is not and never has been British, and it would be a brave man that would call her British to her face.

"fish" is not another word for "anything born in an aquarium". Try again.

Swedish isn't another word for anyone born in Sweden either. To be Swedish you must be of the Swedish nation, ie the Swedish people. Just being born in a country does not mean you are part of an associated nation.

I thought Sweden offers birthright citizenship. I was mistaken. Nevertheless he's still probably Swedish.
