ah, for all the conspiracies, you still believe the earth is round... even tho we have never been to the moon. plane routes get bizarre south of the equator, and you think ships 'disappear' over the horizon (but zoom lenses bring em back.. )

when you really examine what you think you know, you'd find your faith lies in a few government run organizations, and until you ask questions, you'd never know the resistance to those questions.

but keep laughing. and 9.11 was totally a few terrorists. and the 1986 challenger explosion had like 3 identical twins that are still alive and 3 others using the same names as people that 'died' and look identical. but i'm sure that is all just a coincidence.

Your point being? You can make an equidistant projection from any singular point on the globe. This map uses the north pole because it's what we consider "up" on the sphere. An equidistant projection distorts how far one point is from another depending on how far both those points are from the source point, it's not an accurate respresentation of what the Earth looks like, it's how it appears if you took a ball and squashed it flat.

lol, and gyroscopes don't move because earth just spins to slowly for them to detect the motion.

i'm sure that is why the united nations uses the map.
