But nooooo they are way too busy virtue signaling instead of thinking.

Conformism, opportunism and groupthink. As usually.

Eventually these "first world" will collapse, and by that point it will be too late.

For some countries it may be too late already as it is. Objectively.

200 years from now, if a kid google image "UK person" or "German person" there will only be browns.

Sounds very plausible. My last hope is for the Eastern Europe. But they are too dependent on the large economies of the West, so will be bullied or bought into submission most likely. And if that fails - that is it.

I am not sure the Romans could actually timely detect and follow the downfall of their Empire back then - the technology was not developed enough to give the complete overview of what is going on - but it might have felt a bit similar.

The thing is that every civilization would fall eventually, the question is when.

Rome fell. Asian dynasties fell and replaced by another regime. The caliphate in middle east fell. Eventually "christian democratic europe" will fall (even now, those christian democratic parties in Europe favors the muslims rather than the christians). Probably replaced by something like Orwell's 1984.

Totally agree.

Unfortunately we may be the ones observing beginning of the fall of the European civilization, the one which so recently ruled the whole planet and shaped it to be what it is today. It is succumbing to its internal weaknesses of what it has become.

The future prospects are not very attractive, it is either Orwell's 1984 totalitarian Left, or classical Fascism/Nazi mix, or gradual degradation and Islamization and turning into a Third World place.

The Western democracy essentially killed itself.
