I don't necessarily want to do it as a 'fuck you' but more I want to do service to my race by raising an informed and intelligent next generation that makes good decisions. I'd say that's an even bigger fuck you

I find that now that i have kids i kind of just wish mediocrity on them. Im not sure being above average in any way is a useful thing anymore.

Quite a burden to place on an individual who hasn't even been born yet. Totally not selfish or cruel at all.

No, its not at all. If you look at it overall and don't necessarily agree with the idea, break it down and look at each piece. How does it place a burden on them to be informed, its merely a component of education that has been removed and is an extension of knowing. Intelligence, another component of public education that is not being inspired into children to seek knowledge and just wish to know and want to know more for the sake of knowing, to explore and be curious. Making good decisions, its an amalgamation of the previous two things and good parenting.

These things are each important, by giving them these tools they can be successful and what good parent doesn't wish to give their children the tools to make themselves successful and for them to reach that? It can only be a burden, selfish, or cruel if you look at it from particular view points such as where you're coming from - I disagree with that view.
