nah we shouldn't pass the blame on each other. I don't think everyone is same. there are good and bad people in every race, religion, belief, country, ethnic group. I am a Buddhist, and lord buddha said 2500 years ago that "Not by birth is one an outcast; not by birth is one a brahman. By deed one becomes an outcast, by deed one becomes an brahman.". Back in India during Buddha's time (and still now), Brahman caste was considered as highest caste (honorable, respected), and outcaste means someone who is rejected, and very disrespected, so this quote means, you don't become someone honorable, respected by birth, but by your actions. Most of people don't decide their religion, they simply born to a family that believes a certain religion and take it as their own one slowly. So based on this argument, there can be good and bad muslims, jews.

But violence can pervade the entire culture, just as more half of Americans are sucking on the government tit one way or another, because they think they "deserve" the efforts of those still stupid enough to pay taxes.

violence brings nothing but chaos and destructions. you know martin luther king jr was inspired by gandhi? and gandhi used a peaceful way to have their freedom. so likewise certain things can be achieved by peace than violence. realistically sometimes violence is necessary even if it doesn't advocate in Buddhism, but violence isn't the solution to every problem out there.

I have a couple of friends I met from Pakistan (I am not from there), and what they told me that these terrorists are a headache to them too as much as they are to rest of the world. They bomb their mosques, killed their people, brainwash innocents and recruit them as terrorists. but we don't see news report such cases often, news outlets only report if it happened in somewhere Europe or USA. As I found in Islam there are a lot of sects like Christianity, and certain sects are violent and radical and they are more inclined to violence. However, people don't see them as a separate sect, but put them with regular innocent muslims and label them all as terrorists. The same thing happens with Jews. Not all the jews are rich, and not all the jews are greedy. People take a couple of greedy, violent, selfish individuals and emphasize their religion, belief, ethnic group and try to push that person's bad traits to the one that he is a part of. When it's being repeated over and over again, people tend to think it might be true.
