I can definitely see that point of view but I also think education can also be seen as a public good. A more educated populace is correlated with a more prosperous country, public education is one of the most important aspects of any developed nation, its worth thinking about subsidizing all education similar to how we subsidized other private goods, or even public ones like infrastructure that are invaluable to the welfare of the state
