And then the whole building will collapse at free fall speed

In all seriousness, I had a very frank discussion with an architect about jet fuel and the integrity of steel beams.

While jet fuel, he said, does not burn hot enough to outright melt them, it does in fact burn hot enough to degrade the structural integrity.. You do the math, knowing that.

You mean like how the Windsor building in Spain, which has similar construction to the twin towers and was built roughly 6 years after they were, collapsed after a fire burned all 32 floors (starting near the top and making it's way down) for over 18 hours?

Oh wait, it didn't. Similar construction, similar damage, very different results. And funny that it only took 2 hours for the trade center buildings to fall.

Even if the top portion of the buildings did collapse from fire or damage from the planes, the top ~10% of the building doesn't have enough energy in it to force the complete destruction of the bottom 90% at near free fall speed.

People forget that the whole "jet fuel doesn't melt steel beams" thing comes from video evidence of what appears to be molten steel pouring out of one of the towers before collapse and multiple first hand reports from fire fighters clearing up rubble days after the collapse who saw pools of molten steel and beams that seemed to have been cut with a torch even before they were able to get to them. So yes, jet fuel will definitely weaken steel beams, but it will not melt them.

I think the real conspiracy is that those steel beams are not conducting heat. Or that person is a reptilian shape-shifter. Can't decide.
