Bots have been hammering Reddit since '07 in pathetic attempts to get traffic. That's not the real reason for the changes. Admins have been banning them for at least as long and Mods enjoy the hell outta that "power"(lol w/e)

Whether it's old fashioned laziness by Mods, a concerted effort WITH Mods to astroturf posts, or advertisers bitching about negative comments on their posts(<---this), the entire "fuzziness" era stinks to high heaven.

If you see 12 upvotes on a sub/comment in less than 15 mins that goes contrary to common sense, you don't need a 4 year degree in marketing to know it's been worked. As a Mod, you remove it and move on. But... If your hands are tied with the fuzziness bullshit, you have plausible deniability on your side, and you can keep accepting those PayPal payments from that HuffPo blogger.

It's horseshit.
