Like what? Fedex and UPS are only permitted to compete inside very slim market niches. If you want to see what happens to an actual competitor, just look at Lysander Spooner's American Letter Mail Company.

And even if competition were allowed, the public still has to pay for USPS through taxes, regardless whether they use it or not.
