I forgot to mention the USPS is fucking amazing. I know few countries with a better mailing system. Also those they staff usually end up spending their whole careers there.

Having lived in a few different countries (including the US) I can think of quite a few.
Is that supposed to be a good thing? Sounds more like an entrenched public sector union where no one can be fired.

USPS is shit. They might be better than some other government run postal services, but when if they truly were better, then companies like FedEx, UPS, DHL and others wouldn't exist. The USPS only exists because Congress says it needs to.

I'd easily believe the high level politicians have amazing healthcare, but cops? It'd be news to me.
