Yeah, I have no clue. A lot of those people were on obstacles their rig wasn't designed for and I saw more than one that was most likely a daily driver out for a weekend trail run. Mine is my daily driver and while I do take it off road, I never would do stuff like that, I mainly use it to get to trail-heads. I can say, if I had a dog, it would certainly be with me most of the time though, and if I flipped mine today, you would see paddles, PFD's, a hoodie, maybe a tent (?) and probably a spare jug of coolant come flying out.

But like you said you are going to trail head, not hill climbing, or bouldering.

I think the red wrangler was a factory set up, what would make someone think that could mount a boulder?

Yeah, I got nothing. That was stupid. I will say, I have an '04 Rubicon. It is pretty much trail ready, and can handle some tough stuff, but around here, we know that one trail will require 35" tires and a winch, while another one can be handled with 32's and no winch. I've not modded mine very much, I have stock height for a Rubicon and am running 33's, but as I said, I don't do that.

I can't imagine the feeling of knowing you still have 4 years of payments left on the thing at $600/m and looking at 5k worth of damage that insurance wont cover.
