Straight beginners program, it's a great place to start. Make sure to watch the videos and make sure your form is perfect. After 12 to 16 weeks you will want to switch up the program as you will most likely platue and / or get very bored with it.

If you haven't lifted before start with really basic movements, like curls, tricep extensions and presses. Machines help force you into alignment as well so those can help at first and some things like leg press, curl and extension I use the machines a lot for, as well as cables which are amazing things. If you want to get serious about it look up stabilization routines, as that'll prepare your muscles for lifting heavier weights further into you lifting career and are good for evening out both sides of the body. As usual, www.bodybuilding.com/exercises is a great resource and looking at what others do around you if you're at a gym. The biggest thing though is to not overdo it, you can always increase weight later if you find you're going too light.
If you have never done any lifting I would go find a trainer at a gym and pay for a couple sessions. They should be able to show you and then correct you on the proper form for each lift.

Your back is the core muscle you need to strengthen, so whenever lifting, always lift with your back and never ever ever your legs.
