Right before this semester, my trusty Ogio daypack finally died, the seams ripped apart so no hope is left for repairing the damage. Ogio doesn't make the same model anymore, so a direct replacement wasn't going to happen :( . I picked up a backpack I thought would last off clearance (an iPack target special). It's not holding up well at all. Does anyone have any suggestions for a daypack that fits a laptop, a few textbooks, and has room for a bit more? I'm not exactly nice to backpacks, as I walk a minimum of about 3 miles a day with it on, and also use it when I go out cycling. Apparently most cheaper packs aren't meant to carry 30 lbs or so on the regular.
Anyone have any suggestions for a good pack under $150? I'm not opposed to spending money, but I want something that will hold up to actual use, not just the "i had to walk alll the way from muh car into class and it's so awesome and stuff" reviews I've been able to find.

I wish I could travel lighter, but I just can't stand the e textbooks. And I'm oddly more productive studying outside of the house, so they go with me quite a bit. I have heard good things about most Swiss gear packs
