Archived Am I doing squats wrong? (fitness)
submitted 4.8 years ago by vivalafreakshow
I have looked at a lot of videos and really try to do a proper squat, but I dont feel anything in the butt area. I only feel the muscles on my upper thighs near my knees. Am I doing it wrong or should it feel like that. It's the same with lots of body weight exercises that focuses on gluts I only feel it in my thighs.
EDIT: I am now sore in my thighs and buttocks. Aka the day after squats I can feel the bum workout.

if you don't feel anything in the butt area you may have bad form or you may just not be going low enough. are you getting to 90 degrees or what?
