Guys, but sweat is making me not want to work out in the gym or go outside for a jog. I have some gym equipment and use it everyday, but the butt sweat from cycling with the turbo trainer (my main workout) is driving me nuts.
5'8 153lbs F 22
I'm losing weight, diet is much better than it was but at the moment going to Narcotics Anonymous (getting my 2 month tag next week) every day and staying sober is taking priority over my evening routine for my core, and I am finding myself turn to food a bit more for comfort. I see it that staying clean and working harder on my workout is more important than making sure everything I put in my mouth is healthy. I'm sure I'll correct my diet soon, I just need something to fall back on as an escape when I need to, where as before I would have turned to drink & drugs. I need to do my cycling as it helps me deal with my anger I am feeling lately since I've been clean and actually acknowledging my feelings and mistakes.
The sweat is bad, I've always been a sweaty person (even before I gained the weight) but never like this. I know that some will stop as I lose more weight, but in the mean time I need some help.
It's stressing me out and making me want to skip some workouts, something that really isn't an option if I'm going to succeed in my recovery and fully better my life.
Any advice as to how to stop this or make it less? Any and all advice is welcome.

Like others said, "Don't sweat it." etc, not a big deal. I sweat a lot and am bald, so it pours out. For riding I wear a halo headband to keep the sweat from blinding me and a chamois on longer rides. Keep a towel handy at the gym. Drink lots of water before, during, after and in general so your sweat is not funky.

Do chamois help with sweating discomfort? I'm considering getting a pair soon when I have my rent and bills for the month paid

Yes, in additon to providing comfort to the sit bones, they absorb sweat and keep your nethers dry to prevent chaffing.
