Albeit is the word you're looking for. Gonna do this bridge test now. Nordic Curls are definitely getting pounded out at the gym this evening.

definitely gonna have to work on these, I used to do bridges for fun, now I got 12/10 reps

I only do short bridges, sometimes weighted to add difficulty depending on time constraints. I'm not sure how well my shoulder would handle the others.

As far as flexibility goes shoulder dislocates have helped me the most. Also not over training my chest and front delts until I can fix rounded shoulders.

See this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhYis4MMoak for an idea of what a perfect bridge should look like. I am not sure if its in this vid. The helicopter type moment where you lean back in to a wall with one arm then come off the wall with the other arm. That one was really helpful. It can be made easier or harder with simple changed.

About 3 months ago I didn't think it was possible for a human to push backwards with that much force. Or get their arms in to that position.

since then I have been doing more and more of the moments in that video. slowly working towards a full bridge.

I can now do about 15 full bridges in 1 go. But I still have a lot of room to improve.

Doing hand stands where your legs rest up against a wall and you back to the wall seems to help.

I also think its worth doing these https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MxHX9j15BU

Did some bridges at the end of my routine yesterday and I could do 3 sets of 6 reps of the bridge push-ups. Then I did five more sets of bridging up on without going up onto my arms and only rolled back on my head. My neck is crazy sore today from handling the weight. I will continue to add these to my routine with a minimum of 2-3 times a week during my five day splits.

Thanks for the links. Since I am recovering from a dislocated shoulder and impingement, I am going to start running the circuit in that second vid. I'll also start building up on my short bridges to the more advanced versions. At my age I really should be focusing more on my flexibility in order to avoid future injuries.

It'll be fun to watch your progress.

I only do a few basic things in the gym, partially because I'm busy, partially I'm lazy but mostly because I want to focus on my progress on just those basic things.

If I ever find the extra time, I'll give it a shot. I'll do one tomorrow for you though. And a nordic curl too.

nordic curl was not easy.

like I said we could all bean fit from some bridges. I am hoping that my dead lift improves after all this.

I will be reporting back by the 8th at the latest.

To night I want to find out what my max chin up is. I want do a chin up with 40kg attached to a belt.
