The others left because they gave up. I don't really have a goal, I just want to get faster I guess? I do track and time my runs. I'm going to try and find others, but I've also felt like maybe just quitting running for a while and start lifting more. I'll be cycling to work over an hour a day starting the next week anyway.

If you don't have a goal, try using the Coach Potato to 5k regimen. When I first started running I had no idea what I was doing or what I wanted to be able to accomplish until I finally found that plan and stuck to it.

YOU MIGHT FIND RUNNING EASIER AND MORE REWARDING IF YOU SET YOURSELF REASONABLE GOALS. LOOKING INTO SOMETHING LIKE COUCH TO 5K (THAT'S THE NAME OF THE PROGRAM) CAN BE HELPFUL IN SOLIDIFYING GENERAL GOALS (GET FASTER) INTO TANGIBLE MARKS THAT YOU CAN WORK TOWARDS.

AS FOR THE CYCLING, THAT'S AWESOME! IT WILL BE UP TO YOU IF YOU CAN INCLUDE CYCLING AND RUNNING AND LIFTING IN YOUR SCHEDULE.

AND FINALLY, FITNESS SHOULD FIRST AND FOREMOST BE FUN FOR YOU! GOOD LUCK!!
