The lack of participation in most subs aside from the large ones like FPH.

Aside from that, injuring my lower back from dead-lifts (I was trying to improve my horrible form by going slower with lighter weights and exaggerating my movements, ended up over-extending my back) and thus having to take a week off to recover. I've just been running a few miles everyday. By the way, should I still be taking my creatine during this period? I should be starting to lift again on Sunday.

As far as the creatine, I'd still take it. It's not going to hurt you, and taking off one week probably won't affect you too much.

As far as the participation I know it sucks. If I had more interesting content to post, I would. I think it takes a "critical mass" of people to have a steady stream of newer content. Voat is either not there yet, or there's not enough people who want to post. The only thing you can change is how much you yourself posts.

Thanks for the advice.

I believe the problem is the latter. We have a lot of lurkers on this site and those who are active mainly participate in the exodus subs; which isn't surprising as that was the area they were removed from. That's true, users like /u/ChillyHellion really do a great job keeping other subs active.

I would continue taking it for a week off as I always hate loading days
