I absolutely hate when I see pictures of Marilyn Monroe on Facebook or online which has been appropriated by the Fat Acceptance movement. Usually with the caption saying she was a size 12-16 dress size and her stomach wasn't toned but she is still considered the most beautiful woman of the past 100 years.
Well let me lay some fucking truth and facts down:
Her waist size was 2-3 inches below the national average for women in the 1950's... It is now 13 inches below the female national average! ("It was as if a Million Shitlords cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced")
Her dresses are in museums and can be measured today, One of her dress makers gave the following measurements for her: 5 ft. 5.5 inches tall; 35 inch bust; 35 inch hips, with a bra size of 36D.
He also listed her waist as: 22 inch waist... Someone posted a picture a few days ago of an "average" lard whos leg was 22"...
Due to sizing changes over the years it's hard to give an exact size for her, however one of her dresses (the white one) was put on a SIZE 2 mannequin and they couldn't zip it up because the size 2 mannequin was TO BIG!. It's also worth noting that with a 22" waist she would be below a Size 0 in most American Jean brands... And you fats dare to say she is one of you.
Oh and heres the kicker for you, although her weight fluxuated a tiny bit during her career her dressmaker and Hollywood studios both list her as BETWEEN 115-120lb!.
So yes, She is not one of you, yes her stomach might not be perfectly toned, but at the same time it didn't protrude out from the front and sides. She was 115lb, had a skinny waist, wide hips and only had 1 chin. Do not try to defame dead celebrities by trying to make them fatter than they are as if to try to transform them into a Fat Acceptance idol. She was skinnier and lighter than all of those skinny "Bitches" you all hate on nowadays, Just because she's famous and well known as gorgeous doesn't mean you can try to make her fat by appropriating her into your culture.
Respect the dead
