During my med school pediatrics rotation I saw three things that made me hate fat people more than ever. First, I saw a 15 year old girl who was 5'5" and 401 lbs! That's not an exaggeration. And her fat ass mom was more pissed that we didn't want to give me antibiotics for her nonexistent sinus infection than the fact that her daughter was the same size a two steph currys. We also set her up with a FREE exercise program, which she never went to, and a FREE nutrition counselor, who her fatass also never saw.

Second, I saw a 10 year old girl who was 4'7" 142 lbs because her landwhale mother let her eat FIVE beans and cheese soft tacos a meal. And she had high blood pressure at the age of 10! She's fucked because her mom has no shame.

The worst thing I saw was a three year old girl who we had to do a pre-dental physical on. Why did we have to do a physical for a three year old's dental visit you might ask? Because she needed to get all her mother fucking teeth pulled. Why? Because her fat stupid fuck of a mother put nothing but soda into her sippy cup and her teeth were all eroded from cavities. I hotlined that fucking fat cow of a mother, but my attending said CPS won't do anything.

This shit keeps me up at night.

I would call CPS for all of those. If it isn't considered child endangerment, it should be. Even if they don't do anything, maybe it would at least scare the whalemothers into changing things a little.

Child endangerment/neglect/abuse could be all three. If a politician ever has the guts to make childhood obesity a crime I will vote and donate large sums to money to that campaign.

That is what shits me the most is so many people with the power to make the changes that will make it possible to take these children away from these butterhuffing wastes of space and give them at chance at actually be children and not grow up with bone deformities, missing teeth and generally fucked bodies won't do shit. Mostly because they are scared of the fee fees backlash and claims of shaming.

These failures of society that call themselves parents NEED to be shamed to fuck for the abuse they are heaping on their defenseless children, ruining them for the rest of their short lives.

Agreed. Working in the nursery killed me too because of this. I was lucky enough to hold these perfect little babies and when I handed them off to the parents, who were fat/smoked/on methadone/with abusive spouses, I felt like shit because I knew that kid was fucked and going to live a terrible life.

It's a difficult process in many countries to adopt children, with extreme oversight and an intensive application, yet anyone with a pulse is allowed to make a baby. I get that no one wants to be the person who proposes laws limiting reproductive rights, but some children are really being set up for misery and failure...

Fat children are just about the most depressing thing to see.

I live in Australia and it's a very outdoorsey lifestyle here, so luckily rare but you do get the odd chunky pre-teen waddling around the park, and they almost ways have fat parents too.

Go rural mate, plenty of fat fucks in Australia. I pulled through a country breath check about a year ago and of the 10 or so cops there, only one wasn't fat as fuck. I mean full man-FUPAs. These guys needed wheelbarrows for their gut. It was sad. Sad for the police force. Sad for the people polluting their bodies. Sad me to have to see such slobs in authority.

Yeah? That's a shame. I'm in Perth, it actually isn't quite that bad here with fat kids but there's plenty of fat adults. I was out for a run the other night and two big fat women were waddling down the path, occupied the full width and wouldn't go single file so I had to run into the road to avoid 'em.

Hell, you should try being an anesthesiologist. Fat goddamned Hambeasts on the table, takes an hour to get an I.v. (with them complaining...as if it's my fault you're so fat you have no veins!!)... Impossible to intubate due to huge ads tongue, and a fucking guy so large, my ventilator can't push air 'll into their fat asses. Just makes me want to say "F U., you're too fat, I'm leaving."

And of course they're bitching about not being allowed to eat before surgery... Probably only day in their lives they've skipped breakfast...

These are the worst kind of people, in my view. Not only abusing their own body, but also abusing their kids. These poor kids stand no fucking chance, they've got no choice but to endure their parent's irresponsibility.

It's really just horrifying that govt and authorities turn a blind eye to it. But I guess preventing hurt feelings is more important than preventing untimely death.
