I have family in Georgia that I have not seen since they were little girls, I hope they have not been hammified, their bitch mother (my ex aunt) was tubby the last time I saw her, bet she has ballooned now. I have been looking up things for a hopeful first time trip to the US and the amount of things you can get fried is astounding! I don't suppose you have any advice for a first timer that does not want to eat a heart attack in a bowl but wants to experience real, awesome southern food?

Most if the "common" southern foods are fried but theres one that isnt that I really enjoy. Cubed steak with biscuts and gravy are the bomb.com I swear! Sometimes the gravy is a bit heavy depending on where you get it from or if you making it yourself but I'll just scrape the excess off or dip my biscuts in it. It's great. Fried okra is the south's sorry excuse for a vegetable. If you want dessert banana pudding it the way to go, it's not really healthy but its a nice treat! I hope if you take a trip over here that you have fun! Plenty of shitlording opportunites, you'd probably be excused from some of it because you're foriegn.
