I have a morbid fascination with fit-to-fat posts. It really astounds me that someone can let themselves gain more than half a stone without just thinking 'okay, need to cut back for the next month'.

Same. I think fit to fat posts are my favorites in this forum.

Completely agree...it's just amazing to see what a beast looked like once in human form.

Its the same fascination seeing Smegol's early life as a hobbit.

For those who prefer freedom units; 1 stone ~14lbs.

I don't get it. I thought I was losing a little muscle definition, checked and saw I was ~4 pounds fatter than I wanted to be, so I lost it the following week by just eating a little less and biking to work a couple days. It wasn't hard.

That just means that you have good genetics.

You see, many people are not blessed with good genetics, and will eat just 800 calories in one day, and gain weight because of conditions!

Oh, forgot to mention, the 800 calorie day was sandwiched between two 4,000 calorie days (day 1 4K calories, day 2 800 calories, day 3 4K calories, oh plus it was Marcie's birthday so we had to get buttercream cake all around). And the weigh-in happened before day 1 and after day 3.

But genetics.

so maybe you can help me. I'm searching for an album for last 2 hours, and I haven't found it still. I saw it last week, I'm sure. It was something like super-hot redhead to a whale. Every single moment passes without seeing that album again makes me feel like "my life is being torn apart"

help me, I'm so desperate ;_;

"Just you wait, when you hit 30 it will happen to you too when your metabolism slows down."

I always just say "Yup, I'm sure it will." in a dismissive tone. That's my next "landmark" weight gain. First it was 18 (Freshman 15), then 22 (you've been drinking/partying/late night food for a year at the bars), then 25 (you've been out of school/got married and you aren't as active as you were in college). So now that I'm 26, I'm told that I'll lose my "cute little figure" as soon as I have kids. And that my waistline won't hold into my 30's. Jokes on them - I've been steadily improving myself as time goes on and I'm not having kids. All of those fat shit comments have just fueled my hatred even more.

I'm in the same boat. My smalltown family has treated me like an anomaly my whole life. They always told/tell me I'll gain weight "when my metabolism slows down". BULLSHIT. They just don't like being reminded that they have any degree of responsibility.

I'm 48 and I am still waiting for all that weight to just magically appear. I don't think it will appear as I take care of myself.

I've been steadily improving myself as time goes on and I'm not having kids.

Not that that matters too much. See all the posts where shitlord were confronted with "Just wait until you have kids" and the response was "I already have a couple of them".

Ah shit I'm screwed in 8 months... should I expect the extra 50 pounds all at once? Or over the course of the year?

[–] JustTruthful 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

I'm over 40 and sure, your metabolism does slow down but wtf that has to do with anything? It's still the same calories in calories out. You just adjust your eating.

I'm just months away from being 40 and I've never been fat. Turning 25/30/35, getting married, having a kid: none of these events turned me fat.

Ruined body before 25ish. Ham age, looks 40. It baffles me that these things let themselves get to that state and not want to take a header off the nearest tall building.

I have it on reasonable authority that any woman who gets to late 20s-early 30s without blowing up in or out of a relationship is likely to remain within normal BMI

Tell that to my mom. She became a landwhale in her late 50s.

[–] Hamdalf 0 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago

My mom was obese after her 30's (always blamed her pregnancy, she used to be anachan levels of skinny) and after my much needed shitladyness, she dropped to 60kg in her 50's!

Sometimes I don't really think that the fats look as old as people say they do on here, though I enjoy the vitriol. This chick genuinely looks to be mid-40's to me.

Of all the pieces of fatlogic out there, I think the one that drives me the craziest is the notion fat women have, that fat "makes them look younger" or fat "smooths out lines". Horseshit. First , round pudgy double chinned moon faces are inherently ageing, making even teenagers so cursed look matronly ; second, even if it is true that fat "plumps out" fine lines, the effect is negated by the ageing effect of the overall facial chubbiness, AND fat deepens actual wrinkles, not to mention sagging jawlines.

Sugary alcohol, at that. The fruity drinks are of course the worst. but I consider beer to be a sugary drink as well.

Holy shit I know this girl! Name begins with L. We had an online thing while I was on the road. She was freaky as shit telling me about being with girlfriends and what not. Met her in person and couldn't get out of the restaurant fast enough.

Came here to say this and literally everyone else did too!! I noticed that all of her fat pictures she is posing with food and/or alcohol. Her true loves I would assume.
