His mouth says he loves me no matter what I look like, but his erection says otherwise.

Why is she equating sexual attraction to love? What an idiot.

The other day, I was getting simultaneous hand massages from my wife and her... uh... similar-looking sister. Boy, lemme tell ya... it appears my dingus has some 'splainin' to do.

For many people the idea of having sex with someone is the act of expressing love, more commonly known as "making love". It's not difficult to see why people are confused in our culture and conflate the two.

On our next episode of Things that are Blatantly Obvious: women actually find "dad bods" disgusting, everyone prefers to date a thin person, and life is generally more pleasant when you are a shitlord/lady! Stay tuned!

No shit. I have a boyfriend who's definitely chubby, and tonight he hung up and disappeared because I sent him a nude and he was upset that he can't take as sexy pics of himself and that I'm more attractive than him.

I mean, if that's such a problem for him, why won't he even try to lose weight? It's amazing what it does to your confidence.

Feminism sold this woman a false bill of goods. She believes she should be inherently desirable merely for existing, and so utilizing the best possible way to increase her desirability (becoming less overweight) has become a negative rather than a positive for her. It provokes cognitive dissonance and she can't handle it. Her emotional problems are made WORSE by bettering herself.

Added: also, what the fuck kind of wife makes her husband wear a fucking condom?! Use birth control, or one of them should get their tubes tied. Jesus Christ.

As I woman I feel that feminism is a huge fucking lie and should die along with the HAES movement.

Feminism gave you the right to vote, to own property and be an equal member of society. Please don't let the landwhales shit all over that ideology just because those creatures think it means HAES.

Feminism didn't send me that memo - I learned that my "desirability" should have nothing to do with how much I get paid, how hard I work, or what opportunities I can compete for, unless I choose to engage in sex work. Pretty much the opposite of FA, which pushes the idea that people should be handed everything even when they've already shown that they can't manage to deal with the basic demands of eating correctly and moving.

This. There's nothing in Feminism about "desirability." Feminism, however, does have a lot to say about "equal pay for equal work", etc.

The lady in the article is just bitter that she got fat and it made her less attractive to her husband; she doesn't want to accept the truth that fat is unattractive. At some point in her marriage, she stopped thinking of her husband as a man and stopped thinking about his needs and wants and how her appearance and health impacted him.

If anything, this article shows just how selfish a person she is.

My husband wears a condom because I cannot tolerate any hormonal birth control and we are not 100% convinced we are not having children, so permanent sterilization is overkill - getting your tubes tied is not like getting a Brazilian wax, by the way, it involves going under general anesthesia and carries all the risks of any other surgery. So chill out with your judgment towards birth control options here.

I feel ya. I can't tolerate hormonal bc either, tried many different bc pills, with varying degrees of terrible migraines that would come on randomly and feel like I was having a stroke, scary stuff. Got a copper iud inserted, and unfortunately my body rejected it, it got pushed out. I'm in a committed relationship, and we used condoms after the iud failed, but we both hated them. Luckily for me my bf's pull out game is on point, and that method is working beautifully for us.

I resent women, because they found me more attractive after I got a well paying job, a nice car, started bathing regularly, and moved out my mothers house. /s

Well you shouldn't, because your purpose is to do those things not for your own personal fulfillment, but so that real women can use your accomplishments as passive display of how desirable they are.

My friend was going through something like this when he said that he was mad that he was getting more sexual attention from his gf when he was losing weight.

I put it very lightly (I'm verrry good at twisting words) and said that "she's happy to see you getting healthier and obviously you have more confidence and vitality now that you're losing weight. You both benefit from this, and you should see it as a gift you're giving yourself, as well as her"

What I wanted to say was "You ballooned up right before you met her and I barely fucking recognized you when I came back home so I feel really fucking sorry that she had to put up with a fat boyfriend, but at least she's fucking loyal, right? Jesus christ. Stop trying to die on me for like two minutes and get fit."

Well, he claims to be going to the gym regularly, and he HAS lost a bit of weight. I haven't been around him in person much because I have had plenty of school to keep me occupied. He's my longest running friend and I would be beyond devastated if he died from complications from his weight. Nothing makes me madder to know that he's let himself become this ham.

Idiot puts 1 and 2 together and does not like the answer. Naked women plus human-sized = Boner. Prefers Naked woman plus Fat = Flaccid.

This beast wont stay human-sized for long. Is simply too stupid.

I know why he’s crazy for me right now. It isn’t spring fever. It’s the 8 inches I’ve lost from my hips and waist over the last few weeks, carved out during my new daily exercise routine and a rather dictatorial weight watchers points system.

Drastic changes like she implies in the whole article don't happen in a few weeks.
