Damn, when she refused to have her BMI taken, you should have responded: "That's quite alright, I don't think the BMI charts go that high anyway."

And it's probably just a commercial scale, not suitable for weighing bags of concrete, cartoon safes or fatties.

That is a burn her "strong arms" wish could feel.

BMI of 2

That fat idiot.. Yeah, they really have no idea how bodyfat and muscle work. I think the person with the lowest BMI had severe anorexia and hers was still 11 or 12, which was still deadly beyond belief. I believe this case was from the UK or Australia.

They never have good points of reference. It's like that eagleshigh idiot that said he had 5% bf when he got accused of being a fattie. Never a realistic number, always plucked out of their ass.

Or the fat fucker who claimed to casually run 4-minute miles when the women's WR is around 4:12. I bet she "only" eats 500 calories a day too and can't lose an ounce! The numbers they pull out of their fupas are always a dead giveaway that they're lying. They're so far removed from normal human metrics of fitness (like knowing a realistic mile time or calorie amount) that they can't even lie convincingly lol.

I think people with severe anorexia can have BMIs below 10 on occasion, but that is not sustainable for long. The thinnest person I know IRL has a BMI of 15-something and she already looks emaciated :/

Serious question. As described, would this not be grounds for committal?

No it is not. If I could section all the delusional fatties who think they are "hot" or "strong", I would.

I've heard that same line before from one of my fat neighbors. Take it as a sign that your normal weight is making her insecure and jealous. Insulting comments like the one she made are a defense mechanism. She's trying to turn your strength into a weakness and transfer her insecurity onto you. She might be a narcissist. They can be a bit destructive...

I had a refreshing shitlady patient this week too. She said at one point, "I can't stand seeing fat nurses," which was likely in reference to a couple huge ones that I work with (most are human sized, but there are some horrid exceptions). I agreed with her, saying that it definitely hurts one's credibility when dishing out advice you yourself can't follow.
