I've had countless of obese patients come in with an infected inner thigh wound, inches deep, constantly needing to be drained of its pus. They claim to not know how it happened, it was just there one day (like their obesity). I swear, if this is the reason for that shit...

Ever gotten a Pilonidal cyst on a fat?! It's the most disgusting thing I have ever smelled. It was also deeper than my middle finger and I had to pack it with at least 18" of gauze. Truly horrific.

Seriously. With all these deep cysts I'm just waiting for a fat to eventually blame their 5 lb weight gain on all the gauze packed in their wound.

I deal with those things in a histology lab. Those cysts still stink after being processed for 8 hours through formaldehyde, ethanol, xylene, and paraffin. It is one of the worst smells I've ever encountered. When I cut one I have to thoroughly clean my microtome with alcohol afterward...and it never fully works.

My sincere sympathies.

Yes, they know the reason, just like they know this is not normal, and that HAES is a lie.

And to top it all off like icing on a cake, "my fat doesn't affect you."

What are these cysts? How do they develop? My biological education must be lacking because I cannot figure out how this can happen.

Great book actually, but reading the chapters tracing Elf or Dwarf lineage, or the Valar choir, will put me down hard everytime.... zzzzzzzzzzz

Not to offend any christians, but it is sort of like the bible :D Boring world creating stuff for a good part of the book before the actual stories start that are much more fun to read

I believe you... but I'm gonna have to be seriously bored and out of new reading material before I go for it again!

Trying to wrap up the Unhewn Throne right now.

It helps if you have a list handy of who's who, especially for the Valar/Maiar. I read it once, was 100% confused, wrote down who was who, and read it again.

SO much more sense was made!

Same way they get to 600 lbs while claiming they don't know how it happened. It's a special form of mental retardation.

The funny thing is how it was just slipped in casually. When they think they are safe in a hug box, the truth comes out.

I am sure these same posters talk about how healthy they are, and "obese doesn't equal unhealthy you fucking shitlord" when they are trying to shame someone who comments on obesity being unhealthy, or the health risks associated with obesity.

Everyone was being so nice in that thread. I upvoted the ones who were speaking with actual logic like the one who told the fat vegan that the only way she could be fat as a vegan is if she's eating above her caloric needs. They're all fucking miserable in their bodies and retarded for not seeing how easy it is to change.

....If they got to do shit like that then WHY NOT LOSE WEIGHT? Normal people see that the number on the scale has went up and they bloody admit it that they've been eating too much and will make changes. Why aren't boils on their thighs indication enough that something is totally fucked?

It is so beyond me. I got a rash down there from wearing regular shorts instead of cycling shorts when I rode to Trader Joe's - didn't want to look dorky while shopping. That was enough for me to NEVER do that again. I have no idea how fats can go through their one life with all the unnecessary suffering, and not do something about it.

Yes. It is a work of absolute genius, but it can be very, very ponderous in sections.

Small doses. Digest it. Take your time.

Don't consume it all at once, it's too rich.

What the fuck???

It's like they live in a parallel universe or something. I've lived on Planet Earth nearly 40 years now and never once have I developed boils or cysts on my inner thighs (or anywhere else on my body for that matter).

probably from their thighs rubbing together, would that cause a boil? I'd assume the skin rubbing on skin would cause a rash or blister, like when you're doing a long backpacking trip and your backpack isn't adjusted right and it causes rashes in areas around your back/armpits where it's rubbing for hours on end. Or blisters from hiking 15+ miles a day for a week in new shoes. Can you tell I learned a lot of hard lessons on my first backpacking trip :P

now I know to carry mole skin for blisters, and to make sure my pack is adjusted very well, and re-adjusted whenever the load shifts as I repack and go through supplies.
