Bull fucking shit. All the good parts about a sport, the improvement to quality of life, mobility, physical and mental health, are thrown out the fucking window purely for gluttuny and ignorance. There's no scientific evidence that past male 12% and female equivalent bf% there's significant improvement to strength and I'm being conservative.
Being in several fitness communities over years, I haven't seen a single one of these degenerate fucking pigs trying properly. They try once with a shitty plan, say they feel weak and go back to hogging the next day. The worst kind of pigs, the ones who clearly could put some effort into it, but go miles out of their way not to. If you wanna give them a pass for it, that means shit. It just makes your pass worth nothing.

Strength is a worthy goal on its own. Being the strongest at something is important. Being the strongest at something is one of the purest forms of sport. You say there's no evidence, but look at the strongman recordholders and the guys who have the bench press / squat / deadlift records. Mariusz is one of the ultra rare examples of a guy who did it at or under 12%.
I'll quit arguing the point. I hate fatties as much as anyone else here.

Ambition is a good thing. Past a certain point it becomes greed and brings you nothing but misery and frustration. Sexual appetite is good too. It's directly related to health. But if that leads you to spend weeks of nonstop porn/sex, that becomes a problem.
Achieving strength is something that I can appreciate. But becoming fat as a pig in the process and justifying that on empirical evidence is despicable, loathsome, repulsive. It's a cancerous mentality in our sport and I hope we eventually get rid of it.
