Contrary to what these hams seem to think, a true test of intelligence is being able to use "small" words while discussing complex topics, NOT using "big" words for mundane shit.

One of my best English teachers introduced me to The Economist's style guide.
I don't use 'best' when referring to English class often.
As an engineer, it's all too easy to use big words to describe mundane shit. But all you're doing is wasting air.
Conveying information simply and clearly - that's an art
