I used to think like that until I gained 20lbs after having a baby. Then I realized that it doesn't even matter. I wasted so much time stressing over my imperfections, and it doesn't even matter. I get hit on the same amount at both weights as long as I'm confident and nice. Now I'm confident because I accomplish shit, my kid is awesome, I have my shit together. That's a much better feeling than working out 6 times a week and still feeling not good enough because I had a tiny bit of fat on my stomach. I'm not saying people should stop being healthy, but do your workout, eat things you like in moderation, and be happy with who you are. You'll be so much happier when you realize you're already good enough!

Delusion

Denial

tl;dr - just give up on life - it's less hard when you don't try

Haha, hilarious thread, OP.

lol "moderation" like she knows what that is gaining 20 fucking pounds during pregnancy. Aren't babies usually like 5-7 pounds when they are BORN? wtf

That's not particularly unusual - there's a lot of weight that women need to put on to support the baby (not just the kid itself - amniotic fluid or whatever that is, etc).

But I'm pretty sure she meant like 'personally' gained 20lb - as in, weighed too much, welped out the kid, and was still 20lb more after. And in assuming didn't lose it after. Denial is denial - any flavor you like
