I showed my fiance the S.I. issue, and bitched how they gave into fat women. There was a fat woman behind us in line that was very unamused and gave me a filthy look. I just don't care anymore, I would have loved for her to say some shit.

Clearly they are having the same size inflation issues that we are having. It used to be perfectly acceptable for a 5'4" woman to wear a six if she was rather narrowly built and an 8 if she had dat ass. Nowadays, being that height and wearing that size pretty much means you are covered in a layer of excess fat. As the "before" picture in this article clearly shows.

All the people replying to this saying UK 10 = US 6 are right, but she looks like she was a US 10 to me. That's no 6.
