nutrisystem actually has you do a couple meals a week to understand what a normal portion is and tells you what the portions should look like etc, as well as snacks that aren't provided, like 2 oz of nuts, an egg, etc, explaining how portioning works, etc. Tells you about protein and "smart carbs"- carbs that aren't simple carbs I guess.

I do it right now to lose some weight because I'm disabled, and my apartment isn't accessible, so cooking is difficult. I'm a normal weight, but with my disorder, lower end of normal will mean less pain. It helps though because it just sucks not being able to even get around your apartment you know?
