Document everything she says to you (dates and time and witnesses) and then go to human resources and tell them that she is creating a hostile work environment. That you are beginning to feel like you don't want to come in to work everyday because you know you will be faced with her derogatory comments about your "size". And that recently she even made a sexually inappropriate and derogatory comment about you in front of a male colleague which was meant to embarrass and shame you.

Demand that something be done.

In addition. Don't report until there are a few incidents and witnesses. Then she can say she thought it was a onetime incident and shrugged it off but the harassment became a continuing thing.

"I tried to ignore it and be friendly. I was hoping it would stop on it's own. Ireally didn't want to get HR involved, but it just got too much for me to deal with. I feel unsafe coming into work"

Lots of "I" statements and make sure to include the special "safe" word ;)

I agree as a knee-jerk reaction...but keep in mind that long term you may make some workplace enemies doing so.

Not as bad as uppity ladies who report men for being nice, but you'll be "that chick who gets HR involved" to folks.

Of course if this is constant badgering, fuck it you deserve respect.

This freak essentially called her a whore. In front of a male colleague and in a pretty disgusting way. Not to mention, it sounds as if this is a course of conduct that is not going to end. In fact, it just escalated. I would not have suggested HR for a first time offense. This is bad.

Jobs come and go, but wrecking a ham planet's life / career is forever. =)

Also, HR seems to always be full of fats.
