I don't. That's why you don't get married period.

Nothing wrong with getting married as long as you love and respect your partner enough not to let yourself go after the wedding. My husband put on quite a bit of weight after we got married and I told him very honestly that it was a problem for me... he lost the weight!

I learned my lesson a different way. My marriage didn't work out, but at least she was thin and attractive the whole time. Anyway, once in a lifetime was enough for me. I don't need to sign a legal contract enforcing a personal relationship again.

I got married, wife stayed thin. We had a kid, and she was in better shape than before within 6 months.

Same thing happened to me. Wife is fitter now than the day I met her. I am a much better person for it. When I met her I was living on my friends couch playing guitar in a dive bar for $400 a week. We got together, I went to law school, got in shape, got my life together. Marriage is the best thing that ever happened to me.

There are often legal benefits to getting married, but aside from that it feels pretty pointless. If I ever do get married it will be to someone I love and trust absolutely. Anyone who gets fucked over in marriage had it coming quite honestly.
