See on one hand I want to believe that she's actually made a lifestyle change and is actually gonna stay that way.

The realist in me knows that every time I've seen someone make a successful lifestyle change (for weight loss) they've dieted hard as shit and then reintroduced "unhealthy" foods having learned a hard lesson about moderation. This bitch is eating like she's already lost all the weight, which I suppose is better than eating like she (presumably) did before, but its also kind of rewarding herself for an uncompleted task.

Wrong way to do it IMO. The trick is to simply run a small deficit so that you lose about 1-2 pounds a week. Do that, and you can eat whatever you want, and when you're done, taper back up to maintenance level and coast. This isn't just me talking. It's pretty much the bog standard medically advised way to lose weight and keep it off.
