It's like dying of lung cancer that was caused by heavy smoking. Then your friends create a gofundme to get every 18 year old a pack of cigarettes. Idiots, just put down the fork.

Yep! You can't make the stuff up! God forbid these fatties walk a bit....no they need scooters for their self imposed mobility issues.

No, what we need is more government funded research on how to treat lung cancer because telling us to avoid behavior that could lead to lung cancer is victim blaming.

She only lived 55 years, true - but she ate well over 90 years worth of calories!

Case in point: Harrison Ford took care of himself and made healthy choices. Like many Hollywood celebrities, Carrie Fisher partied hard and did cocaine (There's a screenshot where Leia has her hand on Han's shoulder and you can see all Fisher's fingernails are short except for her pinkie). Guess who complained about weight and body-shaming when Episode VII came out?

My FIL is 78 and healthy and active... his cognitive abilities are completely fine, he visits museums and concerts, takes walks in the forest, does all kinds of things, I was surprised to learn his age (my bf was born when he was already really quite old) because he's still so active and doing stuff. But he has a human weight, and not the combined weight of at least 1 average African country's population.

Pretty much mandatory. You can't burn them, the grease fire can destroy the crematorium.

Jason Docherty died of pneumonia last year at the age of 46

I thought this only happened in my Oregon Trail games.

The National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance lost another on this month. The organization is no stranger to early deaths as their president Jason Docherty died of pneumonia last year at the age of 46.

So even when their leader dies early, they can't see any problem about being fat? What the fuck... But to be fair she looked atleast 80 in those pictures. So I guess they age accordingly.

To be fair, fats are dumb as bricks.

You can teach a gorilla american sign language, but fats have trouble grasping the concept of CICO.

What they call "lookism" is actually hardwired and healthy, not some horrible bias that can go away by lecturing people. They look terrible, and it turns out they're unhealthy and very short-lived. The stuff these types of feminists complain about--the expectation for women to be at a fuckable weight--is one of the cases where they're complaining about something inevitable.

This also contradicts JayMan's hypothesis that obesity isn't the true cause of most of these deaths, and the real cause is stupid people (who are more likely to be fat) having a high mutation load--i.e., stupid people have bad genes. The stats contradict this hypothesis. As do the 1950s MetLife tables--which don't have modern grade-inflation when it comes to BMI, so they pull no punches on statistical risks--made when most of the high-mutation-load population was thin. Otherwise, we would not see such a dramatic change in Type 2 Diabetes deaths in the course of two or even one decade.

This is notable because thanks to the hams on dating websites, etc.--especially if you're a lesbian or looking for women who are older than college-age--we've seen a change in the dating market correlating with America and other countries becoming HAES success stories; for context, compare American behavior to the behavior of women when there is a higher ratio of thin women to men. I'm an asshole, not a good-two-shoes moralist, so on an emotional level I don't really give a shit about people dying so much as I give a shit about hamplanetry ruining sex lives--but ultimately the problem of fat chicks and the problem of a health crisis are one and the same thing. Good dating market = healthy population.

Note to SocJus academics: evolution is smarter than individual humans are.
