Getting the munchies is pretty common, and so is sitting around being 'mellow' for a long time which isn't really conductive to getting exercise. I guess it varies with people. I have no idea if fit people need to smoke more or not to feel it.

I like lifting heavy when I'm a bit buzzed from a glass of wine...I wouldn't venture into highly coordinated movements like Olympic lifting, of course, but suddenly a super-heavy weight on a squat or deadlift doesn't feel as rough. Same with running, I loathe running, but the least arduous mile I've ever run was a "shots mile" (a version of the beer mile but with shots). I don't smoke weed, I only do edibles, and I find those fuck me up too much to work out. I would probably also be unable to control myself laughing at fats at the gym if I went while high, lol.

I used to smoke a good bit. Almost every time I got high, I would want to do something active, even if it was just going for a walk.

I used to be a mad stoner. Wake and bake before work, etc. My favorite thing to do when high was something like tweaker-clean my house. Or, even better, weed my garden. I sort of miss those things, but smoking it nowadays just makes me useless. And the head rushes are too much. The only times I've fainted were when high on quality green. No mas, por favor.
