Can't stand these ones. They complain and you give them advice, but then they shoot everything down and you realize that they didn't want advice, they just wanted to complain.

I literally just posted "eat less food" and all hell broke loose. She weighs 320 lbs and 'mindlessly goes to mcdonalds' but I, who squat her bodyweight for reps know nothing? Then some white knight comes along trying to be all nice, low and behold, he is, by his own words, "used to be morbidly obese, now just very chunky" and "lost 60 lbs in 2 years"

Willpower is what separates humans from animals. We decide to do something, then go ahead and do it. It's how we built the pyramids, walked on the moon, and get to carry wireless supercomputers in our pockets.

You cant mindlessly drive somewhere, order junk food, pay for said junk food and then just inhale it. Ugh, fats don't take responsibility for anything!

I mean, bulimia would solve the problem to some extent...

Usually to them "anorexia" means they tried to lose weight by not eating for a bit and "bulimia" means they threw up a few meals here and there and realized it's a bad idea. It's all self-diagnosed and they're talking about behaviors, not the serious mental disorders they actually are. People that have these things don't usually flaunt them and most certainly are not going to be obese. Hams just claim this to pretend they've gone to extreme lengths.

Most of the medical problems with bulimia aren't excessive weightloss, its things like tooth decay, acid burns on the throat, and stomach problems caused by frequent vomiting. The AspireAssist basically has the same effect without the throwing up, and is considered a safe treatment.

If she didn't realize how much McDonald's she ate until afterwards, I wonder how much she eats and doesn't realize it at all.
I've heard this sort of line before, and yet they swear they don't eat a lot. Either they're lying, or truly delusional.

Are you a fellow mountaineer shitlord?
[–] DNP_Enema ago
Yep, though back in my day the situation wasn't as dire as it currently is. And still better than the rest of the state.

So proud, yet overinflated.
