Strange how they never eat 5000 calories a day of salad and veggies.

It's really fucking hard. When I first started body building I was eating 3500 a day of veggies, chicken and salad. No sugars, no dressings, nothing. To get there I would often find myself standing in the kitchen with a bowl of brown rice and two chicken breasts forcing myself to eat. Take a mouthful, then water to wash it down because I couldn't swallow otherwise. But just a bit because the water takes up valuable stomach space.

It's really frigging hard. I lasted about three months before I just gave up and started eating double whoppers to hit my calorie goals. Probably die young from congestive heart failure but at least I'm swole.

This is why people confuse eating healthy with eating less though. People who eat healthy do lose weight, because it's real hard to eat at a surplus. Conversely, people who eat unhealthy are more likely to be fat because a surplus is achieved after five mouthfuls. If you're disciplined though, you can gain weight on broccoli and lose it on Big Macs.

I know everyone on here knows this already but we all keep posting it. Hopefully it triggers an epiphany in a lurker or something.
