I totally get where you're coming from. Now for me, I have actually cut back on a lot and as a result I think my preferences for food have changed since it's been so long since I cut a lot of crap out of my diet. But from time to time a little chocolate never hurts, especially delicious dark chocolate. But yeah, for the most part I'm not on an extreme diet although I do check my calories and go pretty strictly by serving size. I do also go to the gym, but at this point it's less about a sense of obligation and more related to the fact that I just like to exercise.

It's a pretty shitty generalization, I agree with you. You don't have to be vegan and a gym rat/bunny to be skinny..

I got all excited when the pretzel dip I got in a gift basket was only 5 cal a tsp, that means you can eat a shit load of it to make it to 100 cal. I traded pretzels out for some pretty good wholegrain crackers.
