When looking into Ben Carson's background I learned that apparently that's a real thing for Seventh-Day Adventists. The concept of maintaining your 'vitality' and cherishing the body God gave you is apparently a pretty big part of their practice, and it pays off given that the average Adventist lives a decade longer than the typical fat american.

I am actually serious about this as well. in the US, you can create a religion if you have a certain amount of people behind it right? i bet we can make those numbers. this is something I will actually get behind

Anyone can start a religion. You just have to have a belief and regular meetings. Can be your family as congregation and write off portion of your house used exclusively for church functions.

Instead of Satan, we could vilify The Beetus. A creature so evil it presents itself in the form of tasty sweet treats.

I like. We could legally call fat people evil. And no they could not criticize us, they woukd hurt our fee fees by criticizing our religion.

It's going to require portion control First and foremost. Healthy eating and moderate exercise. Are you sure you are up for that?

Pretty sure I'm going to be the first pope of this church because I've got health locked down tight.

As a Christian, I would feel 100% comfortable with a FPH denomination of the Christian church. Jesus was a shitlord. He hated the sins of sloth and gluttony.

However, there are atheist, Muslim, Hindu, etc shitlords as well. I don't think any of them would be willing to switch religions entirely. We need FPH denominations for the various religious groups as well as a straight up FPH religion for the atheists.

FPH The Religion is inclusive to all religions, but restrictions are based on waistlines !!! Verified waistline is our motto.

FPH is it's own religion. It's complementary to other religions because it makes no demand that can't be satisfied within the frame of another's beliefs.

In the same way one can be a Freemason and a (insert religion here), one can be a part of FPH.

I completely agree. An FPH denom would be incredible.

Nah bro, BMI is for level 1 shitlords. Calipers for level 2, DEXA for level 3.

Gotta earn that right

[–] sp2902iu 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

hydrostatic weighing with its two equations for fat % would be level 4 then since DXA(formerly DEXA) scans have been found to be not so accurate for measuring fat
