I'm an undergraduate student majoring in psychology. Since I'm still a sorta new shitlady, I've only just realized how disturbing the sheer number of fatties in my program is. Which made me think, if these people aren't able to take care of themselves, how the hell are they supposed to take care of other people? Like they don't have enough intelligence/willpower/ambition/basic humanness to take care of their own bodies so how are they supposed to help other people live their best life if their own therapist can't? How can they even pretend to care about others when they don't care about themselves? It may just be the general unhappiness that comes from being fat, but none, none of them are even close to being nice. They don't say "thank you." They don't hold the door open for you when you're (unfortunately) right behind them. They don't smile. They're just personified unpleasantness and I just have no idea how they think they can be caring and compassionate enough to help a person who needs just that.
