Being a vegan in the south is a fun time I'm sure.

I'd say it's actually pretty convenient, there's LOTS of local fresh produce (at least in Alabama) since we have a lot of farms, and there's a big farmer's market mentality that we should 'buy local' (which just means get it from the local farmers around the area at farmer's markets). I'm from a wealthy suburb and I was still never more than a 15 minute drive from a good farmers market on any given day especially during the summer

Yeah! Cheap, fresh produce is always easy to come by around hurr. I'm actually presenting an argument to one of my communication classes about how plant-based diets are better for one's overall health and I CAN'T WAIT FOR ONE OF THOSE BITCHES TO TRY TO USE THE "BUT EATING HEALTHY IS EXPENSIVE" ARGUMENT AGAINST ME. Go on. I'll smack it down so fast you're gonna get whiplash.

I don't eat out often, so I normally fly under the radar ;)
