I simply don't see how this is allowed. Don't we, when a person is actively harming themselves and putting their life in real danger, step in and disable them? Don't we take away a cutters blades, an addict's substance, a suicidal person's tools and put them under monitoring until therapy can turn them around? Not only is nothing being done other than a half hearted article being written, we are funding this. Of all the things that need tax payer money spent on them, we are spending it on this? 20,000 calories a day could give a meal to 40 people literally starving every day. It could be more like 80 people if we stretched it. No, apparently it's her choice and "she's capable of making her decision." I can't believe obesity has reached this level of normalcy.
