I'm sorry but if I can't tell that you're even pregnant because of your flab (even when it's explicitly stated that you're almost ready to give birth!) then you shouldn't be having children.
If you can't look after yourself then you shouldn't be allowed to be entirely responsible for the life of another!
I might sound like I'm being a bitch but I say this as a severely disabled woman than has a 50/50 chance of passing on my disorder each time I have a child.
I've never really wanted children anyway but discovering that my problems are genetic just cemented it for me. I need 24 hour care to live and I suffer extreme pain every day. I would not risk inflicting this on another human (or creating another burden on the healthcare system such as myself!)
My husband had a vasectomy to ensure that we don't have any children (luckily he never wanted them either which made the decision much easier!)
If you can't take care of yourself (and I mean really take care of yourself, including your weight!) then you're not fit to be a parent! Fuck body positivity, how about being healthy and making sure your kids are too? If she's starting at this size then what the fuck will her child end up like!?
She deserves the abuse she got because she's been abusing that poor child from the moment it was conceived!

It's not okay to smoke when pregnant, it's a risk to the baby.
It's not okay to drink when pregnant, it's a risk to the baby.
It's okay to be obese when pregnant, it's a risk to the baby.
Way to go, society.
