*Obligatory First Post Explanation: Hi everyone, I just wanted to say that I've been a lurker on this sub since FPH was on reddit. I love to come on here and check out the stories whether they be funny, sad, and/or disgusting. I don't really know where I would put myself on the actual hate of the obese, I'm not at the extremists level yet, but each day brings on new scenarios which makes my personal scale rise. The reason I like this sub is because it gives me the motivation to continue to with my health goals. It keeps me in check on what I'm eating, and how much I'm eating. It also motivates me to hit my fitness goals each week ( Monday - Thursday 4:20 am - 5:30 am, Saturday early mornings). I work an eight hour a day office job and I know that sedentary lifestyle, if not checked, will make you fat. The free food, the constant birthday parties, the national doughnut day celebrations, etc. There are so many temptations in the office environment, you have to have the gumption to not partake in all of that free food, and to make sure to find time to exercise a few times a week. Ever since my friends and I graduated college, a few of them have started getting to the dad-bod point because they do no exercise throughout the week. They seem to be embracing it because of all the hoopla and hubbub online and television promoting the dad-bod. I for one will not ever fall into that trap, I enjoy being able to walk up the stairs without becoming out of breath, or being able to get out of my seat on the train when someone needs to get out (instead of just sitting there and ignoring the person's request and staring at the thinner person to get up, even though you're in the way of the lane to get out). Sorry, there are a ton of examples I've noticed over the course of this year.
Anyway I digress, I was talking to my brother and he asked me what I was doing tonight. I told him I had just got back from the gym, and I would soon be picking up this girl I have been seeing for a while to take her our to a friend's birthday dinner and drinks after. He replied to me that I workout too much, in which I replied that a hard body is way better than a dad-bod any day of the week. Also that the girl that I'm seeing really seems to be enjoying it as well. After I replied to him a thought popped up into my head, we had this DARE guy come in when I was in high school who spoke to an assembly about the wickedness of drugs. Anyway the best part of his speech was the end when he said, "Now remember kids:
There ain't no party like a drug free party, and a drug free party don't stop."
It was so catchy, that I decided to change the words up a bit for a possible new Shitlord Mantra:
There ain't no body like a nice hard body, and a nice hard body don't stop.
It works because we do a lot of movement and exercising to retain these bodies for ourself, we don't sit around all day and do nothing, and eventually turn into blobs.
I'm sorry I took so long just to say what I wanted to. Feel free to change up the words for your own personal use and keep strong. Everyone in this sub has goals, whether it be career, hobby, health and exercise, or romance. It all starts within yourself first, and if you can't take care of yourself, how are you ever expected to meet the goals you set out for yourself?

I like "If it does not challenge you, it does not change you" as a workout mantra. Or whenever studying blows.
