They probably wouldn't even care. They'd just ignore it.

Reminds me of a story that was on "the place that shall not be named". A girl in her twenties or so has cancer. She has a lot of trouble with pain, can't move around to much, only weighs about 100 lbs at best. Her friend wants to take her out shopping to bring up her spirits. They get to the store and her friend helps her into a scooter. It won't move. There are 3 others, no biggie right? None of them will move. Turns out the Lardy McFatasses have broken the weight sensor on all of them. This poor girl with cancer couldn't use something that was provided for her and people in her position. She couldn't do any shopping because some entitled fatard couldn't be bothered with walking.

edited for words. forgot some.

even if they were double they would say "I've used this cart before, I'll use it again. It's not mine, anyways, why do I care if it breaks."

I assume most of them are too huge for a normal scale, so they they don't even know how much they weigh

Teehee, I must be like 200lbs tops!

I'm 6'2. I weigh right around that because swole. I broke some bones and was unable to walk once. ... actually those scooters are so frustratingly slow I preferred using crutches around the store while my GF pushed the cart. Just made me hate fatties for daring to use the handicapped spaces that much more. Crutches may or may not have come into forcible contact with several automobiles, not that that's all too effective.

To be fair, I find weight limits deceiving. Take a tall bodybuilder and a short fat fuck and they might have the same weight.

We need to do some kind of sofisticated screening. You know how there is a metal detector? Well, we need something similar for fat fucks.

You could have been injured in some way that makes walking difficult/impossible, so the scooter is used the way they were initially intended.

How are they deceiving? If a machine or animal can't lift more than 200 lbs, it doesn't matter if that's from fat or muscle. It's still unable to lift that much.

For example, horses typically can't carry more than 220-240 lbs. They show signs of stress when they carry additional loads of more than 20% their body weight. This means a lot of fatties complaining that they can't ride a horses, but it also means that taller, muscular men can't ride.

But being 175 pounds does not mean you're fat.

You could just as well prevent a tall, disabled, responsible man from using a scooter.
