That's why I gave up wine altogether. Well, that and the raging hangover too many glasses will leave me with. Bleh.

Better switch to drugs, no calories there!

This is why I miss weed, You toke and only have a chance of caving to munchies, meanwhile drinking promises calories.

Lol. I'll have to pass. Coke does do wonders for one's appetite, no?

Vodka's the way to go if you want to get drunk for as few calories as possible. Only 80 calories per shot, which for alcohol is not that bad. And everyone knows vodka is everyone's best friend <3

Gin is amazing, and Beefeater gin has 100 calories per shot. Mix it with some lime and you're in heaven!

Yep. I prefer the flavored vodka (blueberry at the moment) with seltzer. A one ounce shot has about 57 calories. If I'm pouring them myself, I know exactly what I'm getting. Since I'm not looking to get trashed, a one ounce shot topped with 8 or so ounces of seltzer is just right.

A "glass" (125-150ml) of the right wine goes great with a nice meal, you don't have to drink it to excess (drunkenness). I'll never give up my wine.

Absolutely! I love a good Pinot noir with, say, a great steak. As you said, one glass.

Sadly, my access to such treats is severely limited.

I was referring to going out for drinks with friends.

Gahhh. I would die. My bf is a bartender but won't give me anything but wine because he says I am not good with liquor (which is true). Sometimes he tests drinks on me at home, but mostly wine.

It's good to know your limits. :D

I have a friend who mainly drinks beer (Bud Light, gah), but will sometimes drink vodka Sprite. Like a 70/30 pour. She gets trashed quickly and ends up either a) screaming at her husband, b) crying or c) falling down and injuring herself. On big party nights, like 4th of July, it's all three.
